the banjo’s advantages are its ease of play, chording a banjo is much easier for me than a guitar. learn a basic claw-hammer strum, and three chords and sing and you can hold your own in a jam more quickly than with a fiddle. I love its sound. its unique and people react to it much more so than a mundane guitar.
