Rocksmith+ is compatible with acoustic, electric and bass guitars. The original Rocksmith was only compatible with 4-string basses and 6-string guitars, and there’s no word yet if Rocksmith+ will cater to people who enjoy instruments with more strings (8-string bass guitars are really cool if you haven’t tried them).
