How do you get a scholarship at the University of Houston?
This scholarship is open to any creative-thinking, junior or senior undergraduate student at the University of Houston. To qualify, a student must be full-time (12 hours or more) with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Applicants must submit a one-page essay describing how they exhibit “creative” and “inventive” qualities.

The Spirit of Houston Cougar Marching Band is made up of 270 auditioned members dedicated to promoting the spirit of the University of Houston through its musical performance and support of the Cougar Football team. Membership is open to all university students by audition .
