Payments received after April 30, 2021, will be refunded on a case-by-case basis. Initial refunds are expected to be paid by July 2021.
Will disabled veterans get a check?
If your decision notice shows at least a 10% disability rating, you’ll get your first payment within 15 days. We’ll pay you either by direct deposit or check. If you don’t get a payment after 15 days, please call the Veterans help line at 800-827-1000, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET.
Can I see my VA bill online?
To access the patient statement online, Veterans can go to AccessVA and click on Veteran Patient Statement. Then, sign in with a DS Logon, ID.me, or MyHealtheVet (MVH) Premium. From there, Veterans can view, download, and print their patient billing statement.
