The top FIVE overall high scores out of all the Group, Line, Extended Line, and Production divisions from each of the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior age divisions are eligible for the Best Performance Award.

Judging at each competition starts out with a sort of grading rubric- Ex: Technique 35 pts, Performance 35 pts, choreography 20 pts, appearance 10 pts. Three judges will give the girls a number of points for each of these categories and the scores are added up.
