The Online Record Book (ORB) is an online system designed to help of participants track their all their Award activities at the Bronze, Silver, and Gold level. Once the sections of the Award level are complete, participants submit their Award for review by their Award Leader, all online.

Use eDofE to record the progress of your DofE programme and to submit evidence to your Leader so you can receive your certificate and badge on completion. Go to www.eDofE.org and log into your account. Your username is normally your first name surname, though it can sometimes have a number after it.
How do you get the Duke of Edinburgh Award?
There are four sections to complete at Bronze and Silver level and five at Gold. They involve helping the community/environment, becoming fitter, developing new skills, planning, training for and completing an expedition and, for Gold only, working with a team on a residential activity.
Do you have to pay for Duke of Ed?
The DofE endeavours to keep your costs down so the current Welcome Pack, which includes the participation fee, is £23.00 for the Bronze Award, £23.00 for Silver and £30.00 for Gold. Everyone receives a DofE Card to get discounts on things like kit and expeditions don’t need to be expensive.
How many hours do you need for Gold Duke of Ed?

Both the Practice and Qualifying journeys must involve 6 hours of purposeful effort a day at the Bronze level, 7 hours at the Silver level, and 8 hours at the Gold level. Purposeful effort is the time spent physically moving and navigating as well as camp set-up and take down, and meal preparation.
How hard is gold DofE?
DofE expeditions are supposed to be challenging, so you will find it hard. You may even feel like giving up at some point during your expedition. But you will have your team mates to encourage and help you get through, and at the end the sense of achievement and good memories will definitely outweigh the low points.
