The Celeron is the second least powerful processor that Intel makes, but for some people that is enough power. Most general purpose laptops these days come with an i3, and generally i5 and i7 are usually only used in workstations/gaming rigs.

How to install Intel driver?

Open the Device Manager using the steps provided for your operating system: Windows 10*/8.1*: Right-click the Windows Start button. Select Device Manager.

  • Expand the Display adapters section.
  • Identify the Intel Graphics device among the options listed.
  • Access the Download Center,search for the Intel Graphics model identified in step 3 using the Search box located in the top-right corner.
  • Select the driver from the list that is designated for the operating system (Windows® 10,8.1,or 7).
  • Download the . exe file.
  • Disconnect from the internet to make sure the driver will not be automatically updated by Windows.
  • Go back to the Intel Graphics entry in the Device Manager.
  • Right-click on Intel Graphics and click Uninstall.
  • In the device removal dialog box,check Delete the driver software for this device and click OK.
  • Restart the computer after the uninstallation is complete.
  • Open the Device Manager.
  • Expand the Display adapters section again.
  • If no older drivers are stored in the system,the graphics controller in device manager should now be listed as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter,Standard VGA Graphics Adapter or similar.
  • Reboot the computer when prompted.
