Is Azteca hard Wizard101?
Azteca isn’t necessarily hard to solo, it’s more annoying given the length of the world and a couple of the quests. The story is nice and I’m a huge fan of Dinosaurs so I guess these two factors kept me pushing as I was questing my wizards here.
What level should you start Azteca?
Players who are a minimum of level 75 and who have completed the Avalon quest “A Great Storm Coming” must speak to Cyrus Drake in Ravenwood (not Merle like you usually do). He will send you along to Marleybone for a very unique experience. Completing Cyrus’ quest will give you the Spiral Key to Azteca.

Azteca has a total of 197 quests. Of those quests, 48 contain regular mob fights, and 25 Defeat and Collect quests. There is a total of 57 bosses, with 6 of them cheaters.

- Complete the Sun school quest by Koko Smokesign in the Drum Jungle, Zafaria.
- Complete the Star school quest given at level 84.
- Reach level 86 and receive notice to meet Pascal Redmask in the Zocolo, Azteca.
Can you solo Azteca?
I soloed with Fire very easily. On my Balance it took longer (her spells were weaker), but her high healing and defenses meant she got through okay and only needed help from a friend on the final dungeon.

The Zafaria Sun School Trainer is an obelisk in the Drum Jungle that becomes available during the quest Midnight Sun. The Azteca Sun School Trainer in Three Points becomes available during the quest Turn Up the Sun.

It can be found at The Floating Land next to a guy named “Quentin Chamberlain” who sells Wands & Decks Recipes. It will say “Sun School Trainer” on top and you need to press X or click on it with your mouse. You will need a level of 58 and One Training Point.

The spell Sharpen Blade can be found and trained in Three points in Azteca. You have to complete the quest “Turn Up the Sun” in Azteca and be level 86 to obtain this spell. After you fight Clemente Moraga in Mangrove Marsh, you have to report to Pacal Redmask in the Zocalo to be able to activate the obelisk.
