It is not a birth control pill. Therefore, you should use contraceptives or other birth control methods while you are on Primolut-N Tablet. Consult the doctor if you have any other related concerns.
How long after Primolut you get periods?
Once you have finished taking a course of Primolut N, you will usually have a menstrual bleed (period) 2-3 days after taking your last tablet. If you do not have a period, you must make sure that you are not pregnant before taking any more tablets.

A withdrawal bleeding resembling normal menstruation occurs within 2-4 days after discontinuing treatment. One tablet twice daily from the 19th to the 26th day of the two subsequent cycles should be given to prevent recurrence of the condition. To ensure treatment success, Primolut N must be taken for the full 10 days.
