Rane is pleased to announce that our products which previously included Serato Scratch Live software are now fully supported by Serato DJ software. Serato DJ 1.6 will be a free upgrade supporting the Sixty-One, Sixty-Two, Sixty-Eight, SL2, SL3, and SL4, available February 2014.
Does serato support Rane SL1?
Serato DJ will not be supporting the legacy hardware Rane SL1 interface and Rane TTM57 mixer. New Serato DJ will not be supporting the legacy hardware Rane SL1 interface and Rane TTM57 mixer.
Does Rane SL1 work with Serato DJ?
As for the Rane DJ mixers, the Sixty-One, Sixty-Two, and Sixty-Eight are perfectly compatible with Serato DJ software. In theory, you could download and use the Rane SL1 audio interface, but know that you won’t be able to upgrade to Serato DJ, as that software has replaced Scratch Live.
Can I use my Rane TTM 57SL with Scratch Live?
Rane TTM 57SL users: Before updating to Scratch Live versions 2.4.0 and newer, make sure your Rane TTM 57SL mixer has the latest firmware version installed. Video-SL users: Video-SL is no longer supported in Scratch Live 2.4 and above.
How do I download Scratch Live samples to my Serato library?
Download the sample content from within the Scratch Live 2.5 download and the samples will install straight to your Serato library as a crate. For more information on how to get the sample content have a read of this Loopmasters blog post.
Is Video-SL replaced by Serato Video?
Video-SL has been replaced by Serato Video, which is a free upgrade for all existing Video-SL customers. Download Serato Video 1.0 Record your Serato DJ performance as an Ableton Live Set, complete with song placement and fader movements.
