very good value for a pellet gun. this one is the 22 cal and its a heavy hitter! I like that this model had been around for so many years! the shoulder stock really helps the accuracy. I did end up getting the that custom sight mount thing and yup, it does help.
Where is the Crosman 1322 made?
It was in production, in three separate manufacturing versions, until 2004, when it was discontinued from sale in the U.S.A. In 2012 the gun has been reintroduced by Crosman….Crosman 1322.

How many pumps should I pump my Crosman 1377?
First, I tested the Crosman 1377’s velocity using the Crosman Premier Hollow Point 7.9 grain pellets. The instruction manual for the 1377 says the gun should be pumped a minimum of 3 pumps and a maximum of 10 pumps. Pumping over 10 pumps could damage the gun and supposedly does not increase velocity.
Is the Crosman 1377 still good for hunting?
With open sights, the Crosman 1377 and 1322 pistols are still very accurate and perfectly capable of hunting with at close distances. Here is my five shot group using the Benjamin Point Hollow-point pellets from 10 yards with ten pumps.

The Crosman 1377 and 1322 makes for an excellent, stealthy backpacking air gun. It is lightweight, powerful enough for close up small game hunting while still fairly quiet. Both guns perform very well, with the 1322 producing slightly more power.
Why did the 1322 need more air pumps?
With the stock 10.25 inch barrel, the 1322 was wasting a lot of air. There was an obvious opportunity to squeeze out more performance by utilizing the air being wasted. After the first round of mods the 1322 required more pumps to pressurize a larger volume of air to the same pressure.
