A dealership reset isn’t required here in the States after changing spark plugs. Nor is it required to go to the dealer for a reset, regardless of the reason. All it takes to reset is disconnecting the battery for a while.

Also if the wire set is original you may have cracked the rubber in one spot and your spark is grounding out. Old school mechanic trick is to wait till night or turn out the lights and look for a spark grounding out under your hood. If there is one, it should be evident and usually makes a snap or crackle sound to ground.

Why is my ECU still idling rough?
So I reset the ecu just to try and it was still idling rough and smelled very rich. if its rumbling then you may have a misfire. Its possible you didn’t seat one of the coils all the way down on to the plug, or if you disconnected any of the harness from the coil packs then maybe it didn’t get plugged back up properly.
