KAMUI tips are made of vegetable tanned leather. Vegetable tanned leather is a far superior process in durability and elasticity compared to chrome tanned leather. However, vegetable tanned leather has a tendency to absorb moisture which degrades the performance of the durability and elasticity.
How long do Kamui Tips last?
Although you do have to reshape the tip just a little once every week or two. I have had this tip a little over a month and looks like it should last 7 months to a year. Last week I purchase a backup Kamui tip (Medium) for when this one requires replacement.
