Oasis TEARS® and Oasis TEARS® MULTIDOSE Eye Drops Oasis TEARS® products give your dry eyes prolonged soothing comfort by coating, moistening and lubricating ocular tissue. With each blink, they re-coat the surface of the eye for long-lasting comfort.
What is Oasis tears Plus used for?
Oasis TEARS® PLUS Preservative Free Lubricant Eye Drops lubricate, moisten, and relieve symptoms of dry eye disease. Symptoms can range from irritation, dryness, burning, gritty (foreign body sensation), and may have other underlying causes.
How long do Oasis tears last?
Medium term or extended duration Punctal Plugs dissolve in up to 3 months or up to 6 months. These dissolvable plugs sit inside the canaliculus and therefore are not visible.
Can dry eye heal on its own?
Currently, there is no permanent cure for dry eye disease. However, a number of options can help maintain moisture in the eyes. These can reduce symptoms and protect vision.
How do you use Oasis tears?
Gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute, to keep the liquid from draining into your tear duct. Use only the number of drops your doctor has prescribed. If you use more than one drop, wait about 5 minutes between drops.
Can you overuse preservative free eye drops?
The bottled products, which have preservatives, can be safely used up to 4-6 times a day. If you need to use drops more than that, you’re usually better off using the individual, preservative free artificial tears. They can safely be used up to, say, ten times a day. You certainly could overuse those as well.
