How do you get a post office to pick up a package?
After purchasing an online label with insurance online, please visit Package Pickup to request a pickup for your item(s). Just prepare your package, including postage, before your letter carrier arrives. Your letter carrier will pick up your package on the requested postal delivery day.
Can I pick up a parcel before it’s delivered?
Yes, but you need to contact the post office (online is best) and have the tracking number of you package. Do this as early as possible, preferably the day before it is scheduled to arrive since USPS delivery vehicles are loaded very early in the mornings.
