What can I use as a makeshift headband?
Use old, leftover t-shirts to make some cute headbands. No sewing is required, so it is fast and easy. There’s no point in throwing away tees when you can use them for adorable headbands. With a project this easy, you can make one for every outfit!
What material is used to make headbands?
2 Pieces of fabric: 1 Piece 16″ X 6″, another 4″ X 2.5″ (Any knit fabric works, but I like the polyester/spandex material pictured below best. All you need to purchase is 6″ and you can make up to 3 headbands!)

Then stuff the toe of the knee-high sock into the top band of the sock and sew the ends together to make the circular headband. What a perfect way to re-purpose socks!
