How to set up nitrous?
1) Mount the Bottle and Brackets. Find a safe location to mount the nitrous bottle. 2) Install Nitrous Line. Install the nitrous line to the bottle. You may need to drill a hole for the line to come up through. 3) Remove the Carburetor. Remove the carburetor from your engine then clean the mating surface so the nitrous plate can be installed. 4) Set Up the Nitrous Plate. Decide what “shot” of nitrous you want to run, then install the appropriate jetting into the nitrous plate. 5) Adding Fuel. Tap into your fuel feed line and install a “T” fitting for the fuel solenoid, this will provide the additional fuel you need for the nitrous. 6) Install the Nitrous Plate and Carb. Using your new gaskets, install the nitrous plate into the intake manifold, then the carburetor. 7) Wiring. Wire up the system with a 4 prong, 30 amp relay. The system will utilize an “arming” switch then a momentary switch to spray the nitrous. 8) Install Pressure Gauge. Install a pressure gauge, preferably at the nitrous solenoid so you know how much nitrous you have or don’t have! 9) DONE! Now get the bottle filled and start spraying! 10) Did you make this project?
