What is a Small 50?
What is a Small 50?
The Small 50 is a very portable multi purpose pump and spray machine. It comes in several different versions depending on the application. Whether it’s pumping self leveling or high strength grout or spraying fireproofing or repair mortars, the Small 50 is the ultimate high production small space pump. Grout pump.
What is a grout pump?
Grout pumps can be used to fill small voids and door jams and they are available in either manual, electric, gas, hydraulic and air powered. Concrete pumps are strong enough to lift up many stories and even lift slabs of concrete.
Can you pump non shrink grout?
The Kenrich line of heavy duty grout pumps are designed to pump non-shrink sand based cementitious grouts. However, if you need to pump Grout with AGGREGATE, we recommend a factor premix Grout in the bags with no bigger than 3/8” pea gravel.
Can you pump grout?
You need a pump with power and minimal exposure of moving parts to the epoxy. Even many cement grouts are tough to pump. The desire for fast strength gain, high temperature resistance, and high compressive strength can make cement grouts too unruly to pump consistently.
How far can you pump grout?
Also, make sure masons have something else to do while grout is being poured. Locate the pump to minimize the amount of pipeline and hose, remembering that ready mix trucks need access to the pump. “We try not to pump through more than 200 feet of hose at a time,” says Glover.
What is flow grout?
Flo-Grout 1 is a single pack, high strength, non-shrink, cementitious grout. Flo-Grout 1 consists of a blend of modified special cements and fine graded aggregates. The expansion and strength properties of Flo-Grout 1 make it ideal for the assembly grouting of machine beds, tracks, crane rails and transformers.
Can you pump epoxy grout?
Truth: Not every pump can handle grouts used in today’s construction market. Epoxy grouts, for example, are very tough to pump. The same characteristics that make them desirable under equipment make them bad for pumping. Even many cement grouts are tough to pump.
What is gravity grouting?
Gravity grouting involves the drilling of holes up to the full depth followed by the pumping of grout under gravity near to the bottom of holes. Gravity grouting is generally suitable for the grouting of larger voids and cavities that grouts can reach through gravity.
What is epoxy grouting?
Epoxy grout is made from two different resins mixed with a filler, making it very waterproof and bettered suited to harsher cleaning products. Epoxy thinsets offer greater bond strength and chemical resistance than cementitious grouts. Epoxy grout haze or residue on tile surfaces has a glossy sheen.
Why do you grout pump bases?
In addition to strength and stiffness, grouting locks the pump base to the foundation, making it heavier. This helps maintain the shaft-to-shaft alignment, reducing wear on the moving parts. Proper alignment minimizes wear on parts, which helps reduce the repair cost down the road for the end user.
