What is a split canvas?
Split canvas printing is also known as panel printing and is a really easy concept to understand. Instead of one huge piece of canvas, you divide your image or concept into several smaller pieces.
How much space should be between canvas panels?
The ideal spacing between split canvas panels remains somewhere around 2-3 inches. This distance is sufficient to create a combined effect of the entire triptych while not forming too much gap. However, it does not mean that you should consider the same distance for the smaller canvas as well.
How do I join two canvases together?
Most canvas pieces bought at craft and art stores are stretched over wooden frames, which are ideal for attaching to one another. You can use an electric drill and screws to connect the four canvases, making one large square panel you can customize into a modern painting.
Can you make a collage on canvas?
