When you first register for the ACT, an ID is assigned to your record. This identification number begins with a dash and is followed by eight digits.     How to register to take the Act?

  • Pay for the test. You will need a credit card to pay for the test.
  • Upload your picture. The ACT requires you to upload your photo before you print your ticket.
