Why is it called a CCW?
Penal Code 12050 was popularly known as California’s law against “carrying a concealed weapon”… “CCW” for short. They cover permits to carry firearms “capable of being concealed on the person.” In other words, they deal with permits to carry handguns in public… either openly or concealed.
Should I get a holster?
