WHAT IS KSOU? The Karnataka State Open University was established on 1st June 1996 vide Karnataka Govt,. Notification No. ED 1 UOV 95 dated 12th February 1996, KSOU Act 1992, keeping in view the educational needs of our country in general and the Karnataka State, in particular. It is the Eighth Open University in the country.
How do I apply to KSOU?
1.If you are a first time applicant you are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the KSOU website and select the desired programme and carefully read the details of programme including eligibility criteria,fee details, duration, etc.
Can I get a refund of my KSOU programme fee?
You may refer to the guidelines pertaining to ‘Refund of Fee’ under the ‘University Rules’ section of the KSOU Common Prospectus. In cases where University denies admission, the programme fee will be refunded after deduction of processing fee, if any.
What happens if I have a deficiency on my KSOU application?
If a deficiency is found in the application, you will receive a communication from KSOU informing you about the discrepancy.
