What is Tang White?
The White Face Tang, also known as the Palelipped Surgeonfish, is one of the more aggressive tangs in the hobby. It has a blackish-brown body with a white band across its chest and a mouth ringed with bluish-white. This will strengthen their immune system, reduce aggression and improve their overall health.
Why my Tang is white?
Usually when tangs turn pale, it is a direct result of not eating enough “greens”. Make sure you are feeding him algae or seaweed. Mine prefer the green algae in garlic.

This means that in order to house a tang comfortably, one would need at least a 150-gallon tank or bigger. A lot of novice aquarists end up buying a tang and stuffing them in a 20-gallon tank just because they bought them at a particularly small size (usually about 1.5 inches or less).
