The Mentorship Program is designed to provide our Sailors the insight and learned experience needed to assist decision making processes that will enable them to navigate life events as they pursue personal and professional goals.
What is the SOAR mentor program?
SOAR Mentoring is a peer mentoring program designed to provide support and guidance to TRIO Upward Bound (UB) bridge students as they transition from high school to college. Bridge students are recent high school graduates who will be enrolling in a postsecondary institution in the upcoming fall semester.
How much does mentorship program cost?
In our experience fees ranging from $50 to $3,000 have been charged, usually depending on the seniority of the cadre of mentors. We suggest that the sweet spot for most association-led programs would be $150-300 per mentee. As well as helping to fund the program, the fee also helps to qualify mentees.
