The 6266 is a legendary 62mm turbo rated to support up to 735hp depending on the application. “T51R” is a Turbocharger model designation which HKS Japan released in the early 1990’s. It was a Garrett based unit, which in modern day model designation correlates to a GT4502R specification. HKS have since discontinued this Turbocharger from their range, but the aftermarket support and fan base lives on.

Can you T51R mod any turbo?
We specialize in billet CNC parts, and Onishi devised a process to modify nearly any turbo compressor housing to sound like the iconic T51R. The service is available for most small, mid and large-frame turbos, though larger compressor housings may cost slightly more.

it is designed to relieve pressure ON Throttle. It is designed to move the surge line over on the compressor map. Thus the ANTI SURGE. Surge under WOT is 100X more destructive to a compressor wheel/bearing assembly but both are still not good and improper for turbo health.
How many MM is a GT45 turbo?
