Who should take the CogAT test?
Your child can take the CogAT from kindergarten to grade 12. The CogAT level of the test is based on the child’s age with the number assigned to each level corresponding to the particular age level of the child. Level 9, for instance, is given to nine-year-olds and generally administered to third graders.
