Description. Old Blood is a term often used by many characters in Bloodborne, to refer to the blood of the Great Ones or the powerful Kin that can be considered Great Ones.

Oedon hails from an ancient land, similar to the other Great Ones. Both Oedon, and his inadvertent worshippers, surreptitiously seek the precious blood. Oedon is likely the “father” of the infant Mergo, a product of his union with Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen.
