Do I need clear if I have Global Entry?
You can use CLEAR alone or pair it with TSA PreCheck and Global Entry. Note that CLEAR-enrolled travelers are not automatically eligible for TSA PreCheck. The traveler must independently have enrolled through a federal Trusted Traveler program (such as NEXUS, Global Entry, SENTRI, or with TSA directly.)
Why is my Global Entry not giving me TSA PreCheck?
You didn’t attach your Known Traveler Number to your airline account. When you sign-up for TSA PreCheck, you’ll be assigned a Known Traveler Number. You’ll see “TSA Pre” on your boarding pass. You cannot use the TSA PreCheck lane if your boarding pass doesn’t say TSA Pre.
Is a Global Entry card a real ID?
Even if you have a TSA PreCheck or a Clear membership, you will need a Real ID-compliant form of identification to make it past airport security. A Global Entry card is considered Real ID–compliant and will be accepted under the new rules.

Is Clear or Global Entry better?

Can you add TSA PreCheck to existing reservation?
For existing reservations, you can manually edit each flight to add your PreCheck number before check-in or call customer service and ask that they do it for you. You can also add your PreCheck number to your Southwest Rapid Rewards member profile.
Can I use my Global Entry card instead of my passport?
No, when you use the Global Entry kiosk, you will need to use your passport or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident card. The Global Entry cards do not work when entering the United States by air through the Global Entry kiosks.
