The Personalized Accelerated Learning (PAL) Program provides the opportunity to complete classes at an accelerated pace, via PAL Cohorts. A PAL Cohort consists of two, accelerated, 8 week classes that take place back-to-back in one 16 week semester, available in the fall & spring semesters.

Why is CCA a waste of time?
“CCA is a waste of time. You’re better off channelling your time and energy into things that matter; i.e. tests and exams.” CCA plays a huge part in enriching the students’ lives outside classroom. Skills and values, which cannot be directly taught from textbooks per se, can be complemented via lived experiences.
Is CCA important for job?
Yes, provided you are a team rep or hold some position,but usually related job experience trumps CCA. However, there’s no strict rule. At the end of the day, its the accomplishment gained whether from the job experience or the CCA that matter, not the particular title.

Should PAL be introduced in primary one and two pupils?
The committee believed that education at the lower primary level should focus on building pupils’ confidence and desire to learn, and hence recommended PAL to be introduced to primary one and two pupils.
Which Moe instructors can I engage with my school?
Schools can only engage instructors who are registered with MOE. Registration helps schools better assess instructors’ suitability to conduct co-curricular and enrichment activities for students.
