What is EZ Seal?

EZ Seal® Sealing Solution is a specially- formulated solution that helps seal your envelopes and keeps them sealed. Pitney Bowes recommends using EZ Seal® sealing solution in all sealing units to keep the hoses and wick assemblies clean.

What is in ez seal sealing solution?

All IDEALSEAL sealing solution uses deionization. Water passes through ion exchange material. Ions such as calcium and fluoride are removed. Ions are then replaced with hydrogen and hydroxyl ions.

How do I add water to my Pitney Bowes postage machine?

Follow these steps to fill the moistener tank.

  1. Check the level of E-Z Seal® in your moistener tank (1).
  2. Add enough E-Z Seal® to bring the sealant level up to the bottom of the fill hole (2). Do not overfill the tank.
  3. If the tank is empty, allow 30 minutes for the moistener brush and wick to get completely wet.

How long does it take for easy seal to work?

In most cases, one can will seal systems that have lost all refrigerant in as little as seven days and is designed for large systems up to 5 tons. For systems 1.5 tons to fractional, use A/C EasySeal-SS.

How do you seal an envelope with a Pitney Bowes machine?

Sealing envelopes without printing postage

  1. Tap Print on Envelopes on the Home screen.
  2. Tap Print Mode. You may need to swipe up on the screen to see this option.
  3. Select Seal Only.
  4. Tap Apply.
  5. Place your envelope face up, flap down into the feeder. Be sure to slide the envelope flap under the edge of the feed deck.
